How to use the planner

Drag a filled rectangle for a floor, then choose another material and drag a wall outline. Furniture sits on top of the floor. Beds take two squares. Erase removes furniture first, then the floor block underneath. Right-click also erases.

Keyboard: Tab to the grid, use arrow keys to move, Space or Enter to place, Delete to erase, and R to rotate. For rectangles, press Space at each opposite corner. Escape cancels a stroke or rectangle. Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes; Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z redoes.

Resizing changes every floor. Shrinking crops anything outside the new boundary; Undo restores it. You can keep up to eight floors. This is a layout sketch, not a Minecraft world file or automatic build.

Try a small starter base

  1. Resize the plan to 12 blocks wide and 10 blocks deep.
  2. Choose Oak Planks, then use Filled rectangle to cover the floor.
  3. Choose Cobblestone and Wall outline. Draw around the edge, then erase one block for a doorway.
  4. Choose a bed and chest from Furniture. Place them inside, then check Materials needed.
  5. Save the plan. Open the JSON file again to check it, then download a PNG to build from.
